artist David Wardman           (scroll down for gallery)

watercolour has a special delicacy and transparency with an immediacy of application. The character of watercolour painting on paper where water soluble pigments are suspended in water applied to the paper holds a particular satisfaction. It is this character, of pure water and dissolved pigment, that produces the well known transparency allowing the white of the paper to show through. There is also the attraction of the materials of watercolour painting, the lovely hand made papers, (sometimes 600gsm), and large sable brushes

Each image is offered as a limited edition print prepared by the artist, printed on acid free, high quality archival paper, using pigment inks. Limited edition of 200, each image signed and numbered by the artist .                   FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE
